Wisconsin State Patrol vehicle hit, trooper injured
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – A Wisconsin State Patrol car was concerned in a crash early Saturday morning that injured one trooper.
Round 12:15 a.m. Saturday, the State Patrol trooper was responding to a crash on I-90/94 in Juneau County, close to Wisconsin Dells, when his car was struck by one other driver.
The trooper was sitting in his car when the driving force of a pickup truck misplaced management of his car and slide sideways. The pickup truck struck the trooper’s patrol car after which rolled over into the median ditch.
State Patrol stated the trooper suffered non-life-threatening accidents within the crash, and the pickup truck driver was unhurt. The trooper was transported by ambulance to a neighborhood hospital following the crash.
The trooper’s cruiser was considerably broken within the crash, based on State Patrol.
One lane of westbound I-90/94 was closed for about an hour following the crash. The Juneau County Sheriff’s Workplace is investigating the crash.
