Wisconsin hires Grimes as next offensive coordinator
MADISON, Wis. (WSAW) -The Wisconsin Badgers have their next offensive coordinator. Luke Fickell announced that Jeff Grimes will join the Badgers’ staff on Tuesday, replacing Phil Longo.
Grimes has had a career that spans multiple decades and several stops. Most recently, Grimes served as Kansas’s offensive coordinator. He’s also been the OC at Baylor and BYU. Since 2000, Grimes has been at ten different schools.
This past season, Kansas was 12th in the country in rushing yards per game and seventh in the country in yards per completion. The Badgers were 12th in the Big Ten last season in point per game.
