Community mourns Wisconsin couple killed in D.C. lightning strike
JANESVILLE, Wis. — A beloved Janesville couple have been two of the victims of a freak lightning storm close to the White Home.
James Mueller and his spouse Donna Mueller have been visiting the nation’s capital on Thursday when it started to storm.
Metro police say the Muellers and two others have been using out the storm beneath a tree in Lafayette Park when the lightning struck.
On Friday morning, police confirmed James Mueller had died from his accidents Thursday evening. Donna Mueller died on Friday morning. A 3rd particular person died Friday night.
