College baseball: Wisconsin-Superior hammers Martin Luther in opener

NEW ULM, Minn. — Wisconsin-Superior’s Isaac Fugere collected three RBIs on two hits in a 17-4 in a seven-inning UMAC win over Martin Luther within the first half of a doubleheader Sunday.

The Yellowjackets scored 5 runs within the first inning — together with a two-run single by Fugere, a Duluth East graduate — and 6 within the second to take a commanding lead.
