Additional $20 million announced to support Wisconsin EMS providers
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Extra funding was introduced Tuesday by state leaders to help a whole bunch of emergency medical providers suppliers throughout Wisconsin.
Gov. Tony Evers and the Wisconsin Division of Well being Companies Secretary-designee Karen Timberlake introduced funding for EMS Flex Grants, which had been awarded to 442 EMS suppliers.
Evers introduced that $12 million would go towards these grants again when he delivered his State of the State deal with earlier this 12 months. On Tuesday, a further $20 million funding was granted.
