Which 3 South Dakota schools won $100K each in new fitness equipment?

Gov. Kristi Noem and the South Dakota Division of Schooling introduced Tuesday morning that three faculties within the state received a mixed $300,000 in health gear.

The faculties’ winnings comply with an announcement three months in the past that Noem had launched a brand new health marketing campaign known as “Do not Give up” for South Dakota faculties, becoming a member of the Nationwide Basis for Governors’ Health Councils.

New cutting-edge health facilities shall be delivered to Custer Elementary Faculty in Custer, Newell Faculty in Newell, and Sturgis Williams Center Faculty in Sturgis, and every faculty will have fun the awards with a ribbon-cutting ceremony this fall.

“Exercising builds each bodily and psychological energy,” Noem mentioned in an announcement. “We wish South Dakota to be a pacesetter in instructing youngsters the constructing blocks to well being and wellness all through their lives.”
