South Dakota State women’s basketball continues streak with dominant win over North Dakota
The South Dakota State women’s basketball team continued their run of dominance over the Summit League, defeating North Dakota 103-47 to win their 17th consecutive game.
The Jackrabbits broke the game open as early as the second quarter and went into halftime with a 17-point lead. They built on it in the third quarter, extending their lead to 40 points by the end of the quarter.
SDSU had six players score in double-figures. They were led by Brooklyn Meyer, who tallied 17 points on a perfect 7-for-7 shooting.
North Dakota, who started the night in fifth place in the Summit League, was led by Kacie Borowicz, who scored 23 points.
The Jackrabbits will host North Dakota State on Saturday for senior day.
