It’s official: South Dakota State is the No. 1 seed and South Dakota is the No. 3 seed in the FCS playoffs.

Both teams will host at least one playoff game — although the Jackrabbits will play at home every game until the national championship — and receive a first round bye.

SDSU will play the winner of Gardner-Webb (7-4) and Mercer (8-3) in the second round on Saturday, Dec. 2. The Coyotes await the winners of Sacramento State (7-4) and North Dakota (7-4) in the second round.
