South Dakota Guard engineers deploy to Romania
RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – South Dakota’s one hundred and fifty fifth Engineer Firm is about to deploy to Romania to take part in a multinational coaching train this month.
In response to a Nationwide Guard launch, about 110 troopers will participate in Operation Resolute Citadel June 12 via July 1. Resolute Citadel is an annual train the place U.S. reserve, guard and energetic troopers serve alongside different NATO engineer models.
This 12 months, the South Dakota engineers will work on three building initiatives: enhancing an artillery vary, and making repairs to roads, firing factors and transferring armored targets.
