Power outages still in effect for 11,000 in eastern South Dakota

At the least 11,000 South Dakotans are with out energy two days after a derecho storm blew via jap South Dakota.

Sioux Valley Power introduced on Twitter Saturday morning that it had dispatched crews to work for the day restoring energy and repairing 70 damaged poles via its service territory.
