Mummified crocodiles discovered in Egyptian tomb

(CNN) – Archeologists have unearthed crocodile mummies from a tomb in Egypt.

They made the invention throughout an excavation in 2019, close to town of Aswan.

The tomb contained 5 skeletons and 5 skulls of enormous crocodiles, relationship again to earlier than 304 B.C.

The crocodiles are considered from two completely different species.

Archeologists consider the stays have been buried as a part of a ritual honoring an historic Egyptian god linked to crocodiles.
