CHAMBERLAIN, S.D. (KELO) — KELOLAND’s Angela Kennecke will probably be inducted into the South Dakota Corridor of Fame this Saturday night.

Angela is an award-winning broadcast journalist and an activist. She has spent the final three many years holding the individuals of KELOLAND knowledgeable via her investigative reporting.

Most lately, her reporting has targeted on the rising opioid disaster. After her 21-year-old daughter, Emily, died of an overdose, she has been outspoken about points surrounding opioid dependancy.

Angela additionally began a charity referred to as “Emily’s Hope,” and has taken Emily’s story nationwide.
