Watch The Ohio State Marching Band and Iowa Marching Band pay tribute to Elton John with halftime show

COLUMBUS, Ohio — For a legend like Sir Elton John, one band simply isn’t sufficient.

On Saturday afternoon, the Ohio State Marching Band and Iowa Marching Band paid tribute to John, who’s at the moment on his farewell tour throughout America, with seven hits from his legendary catalogue.

The choices included “Goodbye, Yellow Brick Highway,” “Saturday Evening’s Alright for Preventing,” “Don’t Go Breaking My Coronary heart,” “Crocodile Rock,” “Tiny Dancer,” “Rocketman,” and “I’m Nonetheless Standing.”

As they performed, the bands marched to type Elton John’s present brand, a piano and music notes, beating hearts, two girls dancing and John’s iconic sun shades on the sphere.

The Ohio State Marching Band has carried out six halftime exhibits this season, together with Saturday’s. The earlier embody “Buckeye Jazz Cafe,” “Stadium Karaoke,” “The Prime 10: Ohio Stadium,” “Grease at 50″ and “Shrek.”
