Ohio State President Kristina Johnson resigning at the end of the academic year

Ohio State College President Kristina Johnson introduced Monday she is stepping down as college president on the finish of the educational 12 months following graduation.

Johnson arrived at Ohio State College in August of 2020.

She had beforehand served as chancellor on the State College of New York system.

Johnson’s contract was slated to run by August 31, 2025.

Johnson issued a letter to the Ohio State College group relating to her resignation that included the next:

The Columbus Dispatch reported that the college’s board of trustees requested for Johnson’s resignation after an investigation that was prompted by workers complaints.

In a response to questions in regards to the Dispatch report, Ohio State spokesman Ben Johnson wrote, “There was not an investigation. An outdoor guide was engaged to help with the president’s efficiency overview, as has been carried out in years previous.
