Ohio State Highway Patrol investigating Martinsburg Road crash

The Wilmington Submit of the Ohio State Freeway Patrol is at the moment investigating a visitors crash which occurred on Martinsburg Street involving a deceased male.

On Saturday, Could 14 at 4:27 p.m., the Wilmington Freeway Patrol Dispatch Middle was knowledgeable of a visitors crash which occurred on Martinsburg Street in Highland County with an unresponsive male occupant. Upon arrival on the scene, first responders situated Mr. Steven Shelton, 61, from Greenfield, unresponsive within the automobile.

Mr. Shelton was working a 2017 Nissan Frontier on the time of the crash. The Nissan drifted off the aspect of Martinsburg Street, hanging a guardrail and utility pole. Mr. Shelton was pronounced deceased on the scene, and an investigator from the Highland County Coroner’s Workplace was dispatched. The coroner’s workplace decided that Mr. Shelton’s loss of life was as a result of medical causes not associated to the visitors crash.

The Ohio State Freeway Patrol was assisted by the Highland County Sheriff’s Workplace, the Highland County Coroner’s Workplace and Paint Creek Hearth and EMS.
