Ohio school bus driver shot with BB gun

LITHOPOLIS, Ohio (WCMH) — A substitute college bus driver was shot with an airsoft gun Friday, the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Workplace stated.

Deputies responded to stories of a taking pictures incident on the intersection of Faulkner Drive and Poe Avenue in Lithopolis Friday afternoon, the sheriff’s workplace stated. After college students exited the bus — pushed by a substitute bus driver with the Bloom-Carroll Native Faculty District — a juvenile suspect approached the door of the bus and fired a BB gun on the driver, the district stated in a information launch.

The driving force, who was hit within the shoulder, wrist and hip, suffered minor accidents and pores and skin punctures, based on the college district. The driving force was evaluated by EMTs and launched.

No college students have been injured, the district stated.
