CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – The OU Bobcats went into Kent State and dug out a road win they needed in MAC play to get to 4-4 in the conference.

It was a one point game at the break, but the Bobcats would go on a 10-0 run and then a 9-0 in the second half to open the game up, and that was just enough for them to put the game away. The Golden Flashes would trim an 11-point deficit down to three, but they could never get over the hump and get a lead.

Jaylin Hunter put in a game-high 17 for the Bobcats while Tyem Freeman paced the Flashes with 16.

Kent State is off till Tuesday when they host Miami. Ohio also resumes play on Tuesday, they entertain Buffalo in Athens.
