Ohio AG Yost: 22,000 seized fentanyl pills is proof U.S. needs stronger southern border
COLUMBUS — Roughly 22,000 fentanyl capsules and almost 42 kilos of suspected fentanyl seized in a drug bust executed by the Central Ohio Main Drug Interdiction/HIDTA Process Power is “proof optimistic of why we want a stronger southern border,” Ohio Legal professional Common Dave Yost stated Thursday.

Thursday, Yost and Bryant introduced the arrests of three drug traffickers within the fentanyl seizure.

On Dec. 20, the duty drive executed three search warrants and seized 19 kilograms (almost 42 kilos) of suspected fentanyl, roughly 22,000 fentanyl capsules, two handguns and a rifle.
Jessica Alejandra Delacruz-Toscano, 33; Raymundo Martinez-Meza, 29; and Ivan Eduardo Torres-Meza, 29, are the three individuals arrested and charged with felony drug trafficking.
The 2 males are believed to be in the USA illegally. Delacruz-Toscano is believed to be within the nation awaiting approval. All three are being detained within the Franklin County Corrections Heart.
Based on Yost’s workplace, the bust culminates the duty drive’s investigation, which decided that the suspects had been receiving giant portions of narcotics, together with fentanyl and cocaine, and distributing narcotics by means of central Ohio and surrounding areas.
