NTSB Report: Cause of deadly plane crash in Marietta, Ohio, undetermined

WASHINGTON — What triggered the lethal crash of a small airplane in Marietta, Ohio, in mid-October has not been decided, a Nationwide Transportation Security Board preliminary report on the crash indicated.

Timothy Gifford, 49, a former Columbus firefighter from Orient, and Eric Seevers, 45, of Parkersburg, West Virginia, have been aboard the Beech E-90 that slammed into the car parking zone of the Pioneer Buick Dealership on Oct. 18. Each males died.

The NTSB launched its preliminary investigation Wednesday, our information companion WBNS (10tv.com) is reporting.
