CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Warmer air building in today with a good deal of sun in the forecast. High temperatures expected in the 80 to 85 degree range. It’ll be even warmer tomorrow as temperatures climb close to 90 degrees. A cold front tracks through Thursday night with scattered showers and storms with it. The air mass cools a bit for Friday and Saturday. The story next week will be for much hotter weather as a heat dome builds over Ohio. We already activated First Alert Days for Monday and Tuesday as least. The current forecast has temperatures climbing into the 90s with a heat index possible over 100 degrees at times. The team is monitoring this closely.
