Northeast Ohio Weather: Very warm for the season
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Warm air mass remains in place today. A south wind will be increasing to 10-20 mph this afternoon. We think temperatures today spike well into the 50s. The increasing south wind should prevent a lake breeze from forming, so the lakeshore could have the warmest temperatures this afternoon in the area. High clouds will be rolling through. A weak disturbance tracks through tonight with just isolated, fast moving, showers with it. Temperatures do not get out of the 40s overnight. The warmest day will be tomorrow. Winds out of the south to southwest could gust to around 30 mph at times. Temperatures go above 60 degrees in many towns. A cold front moves through Saturday morning with a round of rain. Saturday afternoon will be dry, but windy. Temperatures still in the 50s on Saturday then we trend colder Sunday.
