Northeast Ohio Weather: More snow east of Cleveland today and tonight

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Cold air mass remains in place for now. A west steering wind will allow for more rounds of lake effect snow, mainly east of Cleveland today. Up to 3 additional inches of snow is possible where snow bands persist. A mix of clouds and sun for everybody else in the area. High temperatures 28 to 33 degrees. It’ll turn fairly windy this afternoon. A west to southwest wind increases with over 30 mph gusts at times.

Blustery tonight with additional lake effect snow east of Cleveland. Temperatures fall well into the 20s.

A warmer air mass begins to build into the area tomorrow. A mostly cloudy and windy day ahead. Temperatures will actually continue to slowly rise Saturday night. We will make it close to 50 degrees on Sunday.
