CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Stagnant weather pattern happening across the nation right now with most of the action happening out west. We are protected by a large area of high pressure and very dry air. The issue is that there is a shallow layer of moisture in the atmosphere. Most of this is moisture off of Lake Erie. This is generating low clouds and fog this morning. The current forecast has a mix of sun and clouds across the area today. A lake breeze will keep you in the 30s this afternoon with 40s outside of the lake breeze zone. A clear sky in play tonight and more in the way of sunshine tomorrow. High temperatures tomorrow in the 40 to 45 degree range. Warming up Wednesday well in the 40s to around 50 degrees with increasing high clouds.
