USC’s JuJu Watkins turned in one of the best seasons ever for a freshman in 2023-24, earning first-team all-America honors and leading USC to a 29-6 record and an Elite Eight appearance.
As a sophomore, and with about a month remaining in the regular season, she has provided a fitting encore. Entering the weekend, Watkins was averaging 24.2 points per game, the fourth-most of any Division I player, while helping guide the Trojans to a 20-2 record and a No. 7 ranking in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll.
