Coldwater man joins Ohio’s ‘Saved by the Belt’ Club – The Lima News
WAPAKONETA — Coldwater resident Shane Payments joined Ohio’s “Saved by the Belt” Membership this week after his security belt saved him from sustaining life-threatening accidents. The crash occurred Feb. 1 on U.S. 33 in Auglaize County.
Ohio State Freeway Patrol Lt. John Westerfield, Wapakoneta put up commander, introduced Payments with a “Saved by the Belt” certificates signed by Ohio Division of Public Security Director Thomas Stickrath and Colonel Richard Fambro, patrol superintendent. Payments additionally obtained a “Saved by the Belt” license plate bracket.
