Woman to plead guilty to deadly high-speed crash that killed Marine on motorcycle

FARGO — A West Fargo woman accused of killing a West Fargo Marine on his motorcycle is scheduled to plead guilty.

A change-of-plea hearing for 28-year-old Taquoya Saldana is scheduled for early April.

She is currently charged with manslaughter and negligent homicide.

According police, she had been drinking and using drugs when she hit and killed 31-year-old Thomas Fradet on his motorcycle as he was trying to turn off Main Avenue in West Fargo.

Investigators said she was driving 75 mph in a 40 mph zone.

Troopers said at the scene Saldana told them Fradet intentionally turned in front of her to kill himself and that he should have done it at home.

Terms of the guilty plea have not been filed with the court.
