Woman dead after rollover crash in northeastern North Dakota
NEKOMA, N.D. (KFGO) – A girl from Edmore, N.D. died in a single-vehicle rollover on Freeway 1 in northeastern North Dakota late Friday afternoon.
The North Dakota Freeway Patrol stated the 24-year-old girl was in a pickup touring north six miles south of Nekoma, northeast of Devils Lake, when she entered the east ditch. The girl overcorrected the car, crossed the centerline, and rolled an unknown variety of instances into the west ditch.
The girl was not carrying a seatbelt and was ejected. She was pronounced useless on the scene.
The crash stays underneath investigation by the North Dakota Freeway Patrol.
