Two North Dakota student nominees accepted to military service academies

BISMARCK, N.D. (Valley Information Reside) – Wednesday, Congressman Kelly Armstrong introduced the nomination of two North Dakota college students who’ve been accepted to attend army service academies.

Brendan Connor of Devils Lake has been accepted to the U.S. Army Academy at West Level and Keira Cole of Grafton has been accepted to attend the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis — each for the autumn 2023 semester. Armstrong chosen Connor and Cole as nominees in November of 2022.

“We’re happy with Brendan and Keira for his or her admission to the U.S. Army Academy and U.S. Naval Academy, respectively. Their dedication to their research, extracurriculars, and group has earned them each this honor. I’m assured they’ll characterize North Dakota and our nation nicely,” mentioned Congressman Armstrong.

Connor is a senior at Devils Lake Excessive Faculty in Devils Lake. He’s concerned in Hockey, Baseball, band, DECA and the Nationwide Honor Society.
