FARGO — Two lucky Powerball winners have big money coming their way.

Two tickets sold in North Dakota won $150,000 by matching four numbers and the Powerball. The tickets were sold at Cash Wise Foods, 755 33rd Avenue East, in West Fargo and at the Superpumper at 1023 College Drive North in Devils Lake.

“What an incredible week of draws for North Dakota Powerball players,” said Lance Gaebe, director of the North Dakota Lottery. “The luck continued Saturday night, capping a week of big wins. Over half a million dollars was won across four lucky tickets.”

The winning numbers were 22, 27, 44, 52, 69, and the Powerball was 9. The Power Play multiplier was 3. The prize was $50,000, but as the winners had also purchased the Power Play option, the tickets are worth $150,000 each, according to the release.

Both Cash Wise Foods and Superpumper will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning tickets. The holders of the winning tickets must claim their prize at the North Dakota Lottery office within 180 days of the draw.

The $1.32 billion Powerball jackpot for the Saturday, April 6 draw was won by a single winning ticket in Oregon. The Powerball jackpot for the Monday, April 8 draw has reset to $20 million.

Our newsroom occasionally reports stories under a byline of “staff.” Often, the “staff” byline is used when rewriting basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as a city press release about a road closure, and which require little or no reporting. At times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
