Two arrested after gunshot fired from vehicle in Mandan
MANDAN, N.D. — Two men were arrested here on Sunday, April 21, for being felons in possession of a handgun.
They were stopped shortly after 12:25 p.m., when a North Dakota Highway Patrol trooper following their car on eastbound Interstate 94 east of Exit 153 heard a gunshot and saw the passenger-side window of the car shatter.
The trooper stopped the vehicle and the two men were arrested without incident. A loaded handgun was found inside the car.
The Highway Patrol along and the state Bureau of Criminal Investigation are investigating the incident.
