Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko has continued assembling his staff, including naming former Duke O-line coach Adam Cushing to the same position, spurring a potential surge in the transfer portal as the Aggies require more depth in the trenches.
After one of the worst offensive line performances in program history during the 2023 season, a coaching change was needed, and with Cushing’s background in O-line development, especially in pass protection, one highly versatile member of the transfer portal received an offer from the Aggies this week.
On Monday, North Dakota offensive lineman Easton Kilty announced that he had received an offer from the Aggies after a productive career with the Fighting Hawks, starting games at every position on the line outside of Center while starting at left tackle during the entirety of the 2023 season.
Standing 6-5 and just over 300 pounds, Kilty possesses the athleticism, strength, and balance needed to protect the blindside. At the same time, his time at right tackle might be even more critical regarding the Aggies’ struggles this season.

Texas A&M starting left tackle Trey Zuhn III is slated to return next season. While freshman tackle Chase Bisontis handled the right tackle spot for most of the year due to Reuben Fatheree’s season-long injury, many unknowns remain with the transfer portal officially opening this week. Easton Kilty has one year of collegiate eligibility remaining.
