State March for Life takes place at capitol building
BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) – Pro-life students, administrators and religious leaders marched to the state Capitol Friday afternoon for the annual March for Life.
Catholic bishops and speakers shared their views on the pro-life movement and a recent decision that put the state’s abortion ban on hold after a judge found it unconstitutional.
“We want to encounter them with love so that they know where we’re coming from, and so that we can just show the respect that every single life deserves,” said Emma Thorp, with the North Dakota Pro-Life Committee.
Students from St. Mary’s, Dickinson Trinity, Fargo Shanley and other schools around the state participated in the event.
