Sen. Kevin Cramer visits North Dakota prison to learn about living and working conditions of inmates

BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) – Sen. Kevin Cramer, R-ND, paid a go to to the North Dakota State Penitentiary Thursday to see how the state’s jail capabilities.

He spoke with the Jail Fellowship Academy, the Restoring Guarantees Unit and Tough Rider Industries, all of that are designed to enhance residing and dealing circumstances of incarcerated people.

“By treating people with dignity, they show every particular person has worth. By offering expertise coaching, they add worth to their shoppers and the neighborhood,” stated Cramer.

Incarcerated people working in Tough Rider Industries be taught to make items from furnishings to indicators.
