Sculpture Missing From North Dakota Museum of Art – KVRR Local News

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) – A sculpture on the North Dakota Museum of Artwork has been lacking because the first week of November.

The Backyard Wheel disappeared from its place in entrance of the museum on the College of North Dakota campus.

It’s roughly 50 inches in peak, eight inches large and weighs about 50 kilos. The sculpture was given in 1994 and has been within the backyard since 1998.

“A part of that sculpture was that it sat on the market and was a beacon for guests. It’s simply unlucky that it disappeared and was not capable of make that connection to individuals,” Director of the North Dakota Museum of Artwork Matthew Wallace stated.
