GRAFTON, N.D. — The state of North Dakota celebrated its 133rd birthday on Wednesday, Nov. 2.

On Thursday, Clarabell Demers celebrated her 112th birthday on the Lutheran Sundown Dwelling.

Higher often known as Grandma “D,” she’s the oldest individual in North Dakota, 14th oldest within the U.S, and forty first oldest on the planet.

Williams Howard Taft was president when she was born.
