North Dakota University System employees, students asked to change passwords after discovering security concern

FARGO, N.D. (Valley Information Dwell) – Workers and college students inside the North Dakota College System are being requested to alter their passwords.

Jerry Rostad, the College System’s vice chancellor of Technique and Strategic Engagement, says Core Expertise Companies (CTS) of the NDUS found a safety menace the weekend of October 8-9.

He says “a password change is a comparatively commonplace, precautionary measure aimed toward retaining our programs protected.”

Rostad added NDUS is within the early phases of figuring out the specifics of the priority.
