North Dakota Receives $5 Million from Bipartisan Infrastructure Law for Broadband Planning

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND), Rating Member of the Surroundings and Public Works Subcommittee on Transportation and Infrastructure, introduced North Dakota obtained a $5 million grant from the bipartisan Infrastructure Funding and Jobs Act for state broadband planningThe state will use this preliminary funding to develop high-speed web entry via planning and pre-deployment actions underneath the Broadband Fairness, Entry, and Deployment (BEAD) Program. 

The funds will assist the states growth of a 5-12 months Motion Plan for connecting North Dakota’s residents with dependable broadband service and addressing the broadband availability hole.
