North Dakota National Guard soldiers return from year-long deployment on southwest border
BISMARCK — The North Dakota Nationwide Guard’s 957th Engineering Firm is redeploying from a year-long position alongside the southwest border.
Round 70 of the 120 troopers arrived in Bismarck on Tuesday, Nov. 15. About 30 troopers returned final week and one other 15 are scheduled to return this weekend.
It is the biggest single motion of troopers from the unit, in accordance with an announcement from the North Dakota Nationwide Guard.
“We salute the troopers who answered the decision to serve throughout this vital year-long mission in assist of the CBP (U.S. Customs and Border Safety),” mentioned Maj. Gen.
