North Dakota Farm Bureau art contest hopes to inspire future farmers

BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) – The North Dakota Farm Bureau (NDFB) art contest is open to inspire future farmers. The annual competition is open to 4th and 5th-grade students for submissions until March 8.

The art prompts for students are portraits of themselves as future farmers and showcasing the importance of ag in the state.

“Just to open their eyes a little bit about agriculture, and we are really excited to see what they are going to have and what they see when they think about the future of farming,” said Lisa Hauf, NDFB director of public relations.

The winner will be selected from each grade and will receive a $50 prize. Click here for more information from the NDFB.
