NDDOT 2022 Name-A-Plow Contest winners announced

BISMARCK, N.D. – The North Dakota Division of Transportation introduced the winners of the second annual NDDOT Title-A-Plow Contest on Monday. A complete of 890 snowplow names have been submitted from throughout North Dakota via the period of the competition which ran Nov. 3-27.

Winners have been notified and may have the chance to satisfy with the operator of the plow they named, in addition to have their snowplow title displayed on the gear.

2022 NDDOT Title-A-Plow Contest winners:

  • Bismarck District: Plowabunga
  • Devils Lake District: Scoop Dogg
  • Dickinson District: Large Leplowski
  • Fargo District: Plow Drive One
  • Grand Forks District: Austin Plowers
  • Minot District: CtrlSaltDelete
  • Valley Metropolis District: Sleetwood Mac
  • Williston District: Blizzard Buster

District workers narrowed down snowplow names submitted for every district and the general winners have been chosen by the NDDOT crew.

“We’re thrilled that our second Title-A-Plow Contest had much more submissions than the primary,” mentioned NDDOT Director Ron Henke. “Thanks to everybody who submitted a reputation and thanks, particularly to our snowplow operators who work lengthy hours in powerful circumstances to maintain North Dakota transferring.
