McCook volleyball player signs letter of intent to play in North Dakota

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) -McCook Community College is losing one of its star volleyball players.

Sophomore Gabby Caskey, an Ogallala native, has signed a letter of intent to continue her education and playing career in North Dakota at the University of Mary.

The university is a Division Two college that competes in the Northern Sun Conference. Caskey played in 35 matches this season for the Indians and averaged about two kills and about 1.24 blocks per set.

Caskey will be transferring with two years of eligibility remaining.
