Man wanted in North Dakota for attempted murder may have fled to Georgia county, police say

GILMER COUNTY, Ga. — A North Dakota man is on the run and legislation officers assume he might have fled to Gilmer and Fannin counties.

Police are trying to find Leonard Higdon, he’s needed for an assault that occurred in Williston, North Dakota on Sept. 29.

Channel 2 Motion Information has discovered that Higdon has ties to Gilmer and Fannin counties and may very well be within the space.

Presently Higdon is needed for tried homicide, aggravated assault, prison trespass, fleeing or trying to elude a peace officer, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
