Man fatally shot in Grand Forks; police say there is no threat to the public

GRAND FORKS — A person died from a gunshot wound in Grand Forks on Saturday, April 1.

In response to a report from the Grand Forks Police Division, officers responded at 8:57 p.m. to a name about pictures fired at 1110 Stanford Rd. When the officers arrived, they discovered a person with a gunshot wound.

First-responders tried live-saving measures on the person, who later was pronounced lifeless at Altru Hospital. His id is being withheld till household might be notified.
