North Dakota
Letter: New North Dakota icon?
I came across an article in the
Fargo Forum dated May 1 that revealed North Dakota had spent $23,000 on a new “icon”.
To my surprise, the logo turned out to be quite unremarkable and uninspiring.
I couldn’t help but wonder why such a significant amount of money was invested in a logo that seemed so lackluster. In contrast, I managed to create a similar logo in just about 30 seconds using AI at no charge.

The oil well symbolizes the substantial financial gain for the state of North Dakota. The tractor represents agriculture, while the buffalo embodies the era of the frontier.
North Dakota, please stop squandering money.
