NASH, N.D. (KFGO) — Fireplace departments from three communities battled a fireplace Sunday on the former college in Nash, North Dakota, 8 miles north of Grafton.

Fireplace departments from Grafton, Hoople, and St. Thomas responded to the hearth, reported round 12:30 a.m.

Firefighters have been on the scene for greater than 5 hours.

The college has been closed for greater than ten years.

The State Fireplace Marshal’s Workplace is investigating the trigger.
