Former North Dakota trooper to receive new headstone 68 years after dying on duty
JAMESTOWN — A North Dakota Freeway Patrol trooper who died within the line of obligation in 1954 will obtain a brand new gravestone Monday, Aug. 1.
The gravestone, courtesy of the North Dakota Trooper’s Affiliation, positioned at 1 p.m. in a ceremony at Highland Dwelling Cemetery, 3309 Hwy 281 SE in Jamestown.
