MONDAY 10/23 9 P.M. UPDATE

Confidence of moderate to heavy snow accumulations remains high in the wake of a developing winter storm. Residents in western and north-central North Dakota as well as eastern Montana have the potential of getting 6″ to 12″+ of heavy, wet snow. South-central and far southwest North Dakota remains in an area of uncertainty due to the exact arrival timing of the cold air and the rain to snow transition. Regardless of snowfall amounts, most locations can expect hazardous travel conditions late Wednesday and throughout Thursday.
