Confidence of moderate to heavy snow accumulations remains high in the wake of a developing winter storm. Residents in western and north-central North Dakota as well as eastern Montana have the potential of getting 6″ to 12″+ of heavy, wet snow. South-central and far southwest North Dakota remains in an area of uncertainty due to the exact arrival timing of the cold air and the rain to snow transition.
