Firefighters respond to report of smoke in southeast Jamestown
JAMESTOWN — The Jamestown Fireplace Division responded to a report of smoke all through a house Wednesday, Dec. 21, in southeast Jamestown, in keeping with Lt. Sheldon Mohr.

Mohr stated 5 models and 22 firefighters responded to 620 third St. SE at about 8:15 a.m. He stated firefighters have been on scene for about an hour and checked the home. He stated probably the most possible reason behind the smoke was the furnace.
He stated a fan was used to assist vent the smoke out from the higher degree of the home.
“Downstairs, we simply naturally vented (the smoke out) with the entrance door open and the again door open,” he stated.
Mohr stated one occupant and two canines obtained out of the home. Firefighters suggested the house owner to have somebody examine the furnace as a result of it was probably the most possible reason behind the smoke and wasn’t working when the division cleared the scene.
No accidents have been reported.
