Clyde Oster

Wichita, KS – Clyde Oster, 73, loving husband and father, died July 16, 2026.

Clyde retired from Case Manufacturing after 30 years. His career also included 3 years at Younger & Sons and 10 years at Spirit/ISI. Clyde volunteered across the community as Santa Claus. 

Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 22, 2026; Funeral Mass will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 23, 2026, both at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. 

Clyde is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Barbara Oster; brothers, Chuck Oster, Curtis Oster; and niece: Jennifer Hinkel. He is survived by his wife: Deanne Oster; sons, Bryan (Clair) Oster, Scott (Patricia), Kane (Annie) Oster, Lance Oster; eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren: sisters, Cheryl (Lonny) Linn, Carol (Mark) Timmermeyer, Charleen (Ron) Becker, Coleen (Dave) Thomas; and many nieces and nephews .
