Carol Ann Port handed away in Mesa, AZ, on December 12, 2022 along with her husband, Rollie Port, holding her hand.

She was born in Fairview, Montana, on August 28, 1940, to Stella (Anderson) and Norrie Lynne. With Rollie, she lived a lifetime of laughter and journey in Alaska, later North Dakota, and at last Arizona.

She was an avid baseball fan and deeply thinking about conserving alive the crafting and culinary traditions of her Norwegian heritage. She is remembered by many for her quiet acts of kindness, be it a pair of knitted socks or a well timed bit of cash in a second of want.

She labored as a clerk for the primary feminine mayor of the Metropolis of Wasilla, Alaska, however her favourite occupation was as a mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by Rollie, in addition to her youngsters, Katy (Jim ) Allers, Chris (Larry) Markwardt, Damee Port, Rob (Jessica) Port, and Chelsea Port; her grandchildren Bryan (Paula) Whaley, Carl Whaley, Amber Allers, Tyler Allers, Kyle (Bethany) Markwardt, Kenzie (Justin) Bauer, Harleigh Port, Layla Port, and Cooper Port, and her great-grandchildren Oliver and Gavin Markwardt.

She was preceded in loss of life by her mother and father, her brothers Duke and Jerry Lynne, her daughter Susie and her grandchild Reilly Port.
